In 1939, The Oliver Stores began offering quality equipment to contractors and farmers in the New Gloucester, Maine
area with such products as Oliver farm tractors and Cletrac crawlers. Soon after, the locally owned company expanded
to the Farmington, Maine area to better serve customers in that region and to cater to the expanding forestry and
timber harvesting industry. By the late 1990's, the addition of locations in Bangor, Maine and Lancaster, New Hampshire
brought the company’s influence to all of New England. Today, the company offers top-of-the-line timber harvesting,
processing, industrial and construction equipment with sales, parts and service support from professional personnel
in four regional locations.
